Injuries From Sunday Accidents in Seaport Area

Several residents were injured in Sunday mishaps around Seaport. Stratford resident Mrs Georsianne Cooney sustained severe burns to the face and neck while bending over a stove. Nansen to Negotiate Return of Prisoners

Moscow July 11 Dr Fridtjof Nansen has arrived to negotiate with the Soviet government for repatriation of foreigners and prisoners abroad. Representing the League of Nations he is treated as a private citizen. At the request of the American government he will address the repatriation of Americans in Russia.

Three Are Severely Injured in Danbury Jitney Crash

Several occupants were injured when a jitney collision on the Long Hill road near Danbury involved seven people. Oldest Devil Dog To Be Retired From Marine Corps

Two Jitneurs Arrested for Law Violations

Two jitneurs were arrested Sunday for alleged traffic ordinance violations. Irving Meirs of 1775 Stratford Avenue and Tract Tronean of 2807 North Avenue were taken into custody after signaling near the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Main Street.
