Parishioners of Trinity Church hosted a reception yesterday afternoon in the parish house to meet Rev Mercer Hill of Ashevide Tonga. The event featured women from the church serving as hosts and refreshments prepared by church members.
Mrs. Churvallie Reed, wife of Cat roll TR. Reed, Akron superintendent, will head Bridgeport school system beginning August 1. The Odd Fellows plan to purchase a large central business block in the city for a full remodeling of their building for fraternal use after deeds transfer to the Golden Thi and Hare rhian street property owned by the church. Options were secured on two central blocks with vacating Broad and Cannon Streets expected. the new temple location is being kept confidential while the church will receive needed funds this week.

Catherine McLachian daughter of Mr and Mrs Malachian of Cottage street has begun a Chautauqua tour with six young women presenting an Egyptian dance story. She previously toured the south as a Chau teauqua reader and recently returned to Chicago. A 1921 graduate of Bridgeport high school she gained notice in school dramatics and appeared professionally after attending McLean Dramatic School.
