Beardsley Park Swimming Hole Recalled in Beardsley Park Memoir
William Lamale recalls a bend in the Pequonnock near Beardsley Park where boys swim and play. He describes rope swings, splashing, and a collie leaping into the water, comparing the scene to childhood summers by Cedar Rapids pastures.
