Missing Stratford Man Found After Four Day Search

Scott Joy of 423 Bruce Avenue Stratford was missing from his home since Friday. Relatives enlisted police across the state in a search before Joy was located yesterday at Hillside Home by physicians and Stratford authorities.

In BuUSION January 20 Emilie Coue the Nancy France druggist preached health through conscious auto suggestion to thousands including blind men and women crippled and nerve battered veterans. Mary Garden of the Chicago Civic Opera praised her voice improving and will preside at a Cove meeting tomorrow morning. She plans a 15 day treatment in Nancy from Coue next spring, leaving for Murapg February 20.

Million Dollar Dictaphone Deal Seals New Corporation

Details emerge of a $1,000,000 transaction in which Columbia Graphophone transfers all Dictaphone rights to a new company called the Dictaphone Corporation. The deal includes leasing Columbia plant units and moving hundreds of workers. The new firm, independent of Columbia, will manufacture and sell Dictaphones and related supplies with strong cash resources and no debt.

Arrest Bandits Who Fled With Army Payroll

Newport News Va January 30 Corporals John S Ward and James Harvey of Langley Field identified by Captain Norman D Cota as the bandits who held him and four companions at the First National Bank of Hampton and escaped with the army payroll of 45000 were captured by a posse about 29 miles from here tonight. Most of the payroll was recovered though the bandits had to abandon 5000 in silver. A witness said the robbery was carried out methodically. one guard warned keep quiet or I will blow your head off. Officers began a search after Captain Cota’s absence drew no alarm from Langley Field officials. Details remain scarce.

Hartford January 30 House Leader John Buckley blocked the Mansfield introduced ratification measure for the eighteenth amendment by moving to table it again and ordering immediate transmission to the Senate to prevent reconsideration. Annie Vinton sponsored the resolution.

Will of Norwalk millionaire read in court

The will of late Norwalk millionaire John McMullen, president of Atlantic and Gulf Construction, bequeaths most of a two million dollar property in trust for Cornell University to support the engineering school. The probate appeal by nephews Frank and James McMullen cites undue influence and unsound mind as grounds. Holdup Men Secure $70 In Raid on Drug Store
