Funeral services are planned for Robert Moore Jr. seven year old son of Bridgeport officer and Mrs. Robert L. Moore of 14 Horace street who drowned Saturday afternoon after falling through a thin ice layer in a pond at the foot of Asylum street. The Mass of the Angels will be at St Charles church following a 8:30 a.m. service at Frank Polke and Son funeral home. Raymond Moore, his twin, was saved and is in Bridgeport Hospital in good condition. Rescuer Glen Seekings of 1405 Boston avenue and others assisted. The pond’s ownership and the twins’ activities remain unclear. Robert was a Beardsley School first grader.
