Three Newtown teens escapees kidnap Danbury man

Three teens who escaped from Fairfield State hospital in Newtown abducted Wilfred Hobson of Danbury, drove him through Connecticut to New Jersey, then ditched the car after a gas stop in South Brunswick. Police identified the trio Jules Boulais, Louis Lapia, and Patricia Bradley, all 28, and captured them in Manville. Hobson, uninjured, was found in pajamas at the station, with temps near zero. Authorities plan kidnapping charges and theft of a vehicle, with CT and NJ detectives coordinating for return.

Lawmakers consider raises for Assembly leaders

SIMRTFORD Jan 24 AP legislators plan higher pay and expense funds for top leaders.
