Man Killed When Car Skids In Danbury

Danbury police report Joseph Santopolo 25 of Sand Pit road died after his car skidded on Sand Pit road and hit a utility pole near the Southern New England Telephone garage. He was extricated and died at Danbury Hospital. State Policeman John T. Jones stated the car skidded eastward and sideways. Assisting were State Policemen Jack Croce and Louis R Stefanek. Santopolo’s father runs the Wonder Bars on White street.

State Warned Of Possible River Floods
