Patrick Savage, 55, was struck crossing a road on Fairfield Avenue Auburn Street by a car driven by Archibald Ghrdsic. He was treated at Rivergency Hospital after a second collision where his own car hit by a jeep near Hancock Avenue and State Street. The bus operator Alfred G of Hanover Street collided with the first vehicle. Christie, the driver, left the scene after injuring Savage and later faced charges with Dr Sprague involved.

Ellington, Jan 20 (AP) A. D. Race of this place escaped serious injury when, in dense fog, he drove between two bridges to the street bridge. His car wedged. the machine fell into the water but did not drop. The alarmed driver was unhurt despite the peril.
