Mrs. Coby Indicted for Second Degree Murder
Elizabeth Coby, 46, of Milford, indicted by a New Haven Superior Court Grand Jury for second degree murder in the fatal Dec. 17 shooting of her father, Jack Thompson, 74. Coroner Corrigan called the act a well formulated plan and criminally responsible, noting the revolver was assembled and loaded before the shot. Thompson died at Milford Hospital about an hour later amid prior disputes with his daughter. Trial set for February.
