Stamford Man Fined On Non-Support Charge
In Norwalk on January 18, Joseph Novak of 16 Soundview Avenue Stamford, a former local resident, appeared before Judge Nehemiah Candee charged with non-support. He was ordered to pay his wife $12 weekly for one year or face 60 days in jail. a $620 security bond was set and accepted for an appeal. Novak claims he would support his wife if she lived with him in Stamford. Mia Novak had him arrested previously for assault during the summer. The case was continued to allow a settlement.
