AEC Grants 30000 To UConn Physicist
Stark report from STORRS shows atomic physicist Dr. Arnolt Russek at the University of Connecticut receiving a 30000 grant from the Atomic Energy Commission to advance thermonuclear fusion research. The project targets bremsstrahlung losses in hot plasma and highly excited hydrogen states to reduce energy leakage in magnetic confinement reactors.
