Snowshoe Trek Recalls Benedict Arnold March to Canada
A history class from Franklin Pierce College retraces Benedict Arnold’s Revolutionary War trek from Waterbury Connecticut to Quebec, covering seven to eight miles daily as they emulate the 1,150 men who started from Eustis and ventured toward Canada. Led by Dr. Riley, the march began in September and aims to end in mid January with New Year’s travel.
