Grand Jury Seeks Prosecutions Amid Walden Detention
New Haven reports say Professor Rudolph V. Walden of New Haven, summoned to testify on a former Connecticut governor’s heart cure, is detained by Richmond police as a suspicious character. Connecticut authorities will decide on extradition, with hopes he may be returned for the grand jury proceedings. Public Health officials also plan to revoke licenses of eclectic practitioners, raising total revoked to 46. Albert Panski, released on parole, was arrested for failing to keep parole conditions and held on $50 bond.

Tax Board Eyes $50 000 Note Issue In City Budget Contingent
City officials discuss issuing an additional $50 000 in short term notes as part of the next year's tax levy.
