Real Estate Man Appointed Temporary Receiver in Bankruptcy Case
Judge Edwin and Thomas of the United States District Court appointed Marcus Hirsch, a real estate dealer, as temporary receiver of the jewelry business of J. Lang at 1274 Main Street after an involuntary bankruptcy petition by City National Bank and two other creditors totaling 7,807. The bank holds a 9,900 claim, with 6,000 secured. Other petitioners are Charles Levin with 907 and Samuel Schulman with 2,000 claimed for merchandise.
