Slayings Hit Seattle Area as Year Ends

A spate of homicides in the Seattle area leaves five dead and five wounded. In Georgetown a man and a woman were killed at a gay year end party. In Seattle Central District two restaurant shootings left one dead and five wounded. A five year old boy reported his mother beaten to death in her apartment, with three children and a newborn sister inside. In Renton a 47 year old mother was stabbed to death as her four children watched.
