Auto Bandits Strike Terror in Gotham
In New York the East Side was terrorized by six gunmen who robbed a poolroom on Belmont Avenue and a saloon on Madison Avenue at gunpoint. They seized about $50 in cash and a gold watch from Antonio Morretta and took $850 from Louis Rosenfeld, then fled in an accomplice automobile.

Sunshine society in Milford staged a complete program at St Peters parish house with Mrs Platt and Mrs Nelson guiding. The tale The Story of the Peach Pie amused all, while songs, recitations and a fairy play closed with a patriotic flag tableau and a chorus praising Our Native Land. Substantial iron holders sold well and the reading listed a full program of acts and participants.

Musicians Attracted by Bridgeport Symphony Concert
Under direction of John T Krusynolds the Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra held a grand concert at the musicians headquarters yesterday afternoon. The Beethoven symphony overture and selections from Weber were performed with numerous solos. The concert drew good attendance and pleased attendees. Tonight the Musicians club plans to entertain the New York Philharmonic orchestra.
