Eleven Month Old Dies From Burns In Accident
Eleven month old William Mitchell son of Mr and Mrs Richard Mitchell of 1025 Noble Avenue died at Bridgeport Hospital from burns received when he pulled a boiling water heater apparatus onto himself while an attendant briefly left the room. Medical Examiner Garlick ruled the death accidental and permission was granted to move the body to the parents home. Funeral services set for Friday at 2 pm with burial in Mountain Grove cemetery. The child had been recovering from laryngitis and the device involved was an atomizer with a small water heater used for throat spray.
