Prohibition agents seize mail and prepare to arrest the skippers and crews as vessels run aground or are driven ashore by mountainous waves. The Ik-12090, owned by Michael Laurie of Brooklyn, is suspected to be in the rum-running trade though no evidence of illicit cargo was found aboard.
