Bethel Driver Receives 60 Day Jail Term
Bethel resident Donald C. Gay 74 Wooster Street was jailed 60 days after a Fairfield County court found him driving with a suspended license under the influence of liquor. An off duty patrolman observed his auto fail to negotiate a curve on Rock Turnpike and overturn it. Judge George Wise sentenced Gay after he pleaded guilty to evading responsibility and failing to drive in the proper lane.
