Stranger robs police station after doped cigarette

In Edmond Oklahoma a stranger claiming post office rep entered police headquarters and offered a cigarette to an officer. After the officer was rendered unconscious, fingerprints were taken from the cigarette and later evidence pointed to the suspect. Two physicians revived the officer after hours of effort. Stamford Father Arrested in Hazelton Murder Case

A 66 year old Stamford man Frank Taugne was arrested on a farm near Hazelton Pa for the murder of his son in Stamford last June. Varone had married Taugne’s widowed daughter before the fatal shooting. He died soon after. Authorities in Stamford await word from Hazelton authorities about the arrest.

Three Children Injured In Elevators In Bridgeport

Three accident victims listed as severely injured after accidents yesterday in Bridgeport. A ten year old boy from Stratford Avenue and a six year old girl from Fernald Street were hurt when a fall down an elevator shaft caused severe burns and fractures. Pittsburgh Man Held In Weissman Case
