Suspects in Art Theft Watched Four Days
Two Rembrandt paintings valued over 2 million dollars were returned to Cincinnati's Taft Museum after a four day surveillance. Three men from the Loveland area, Carl Horsley Raymond McDonough and Henry Dawn, faced charges of receiving stolen property as police recovered most of a $100000 ransom but no thief was charged by Tuesday. The investigation was led by Cincinnati detectives who feared threats to burn one painting and worked through intermediaries to recover the art and funds.
