NEW YORK December 22 The United States transport Mongolia carrying 148 officers and 4 588 enlisted men docked at New York after a boisterous harbor welcome and landing at Hoboken for demobilization. Units aboard include 138th Field Artillery 40th Coast Artillery 73d Coast Artillery and 74th Coast Artillery with hundreds of officers and men. Commanded by Captain Emery Rice the Mongolia is credited with sinking a German submarine. Brigadier General Richard Coulter Jr led the troops aboard. The Cedric with over 12 000 soldiers aboard is due to arrive tomorrow.
