Charles F Lockwood of Easton died in a Bridgeport private institution this afternoon after a long illness. He was born on a Maston farm nearly 60 years ago and was never married. He leaves no immediate family. Funeral Saturday at 2 pm from Henry H Bishop's mortuary chapel 274 Fairfield Avenue Bridgeport Rev Henry McCallum will officiate. Burial will be in Center Street Cemetery Easton.

Easton dispatch says Mrs. William Kachele of Bethel died this afternoon at her brother Conrad Galls home. She was about 48, the result of heavy trouble. Ten left for home as news spread.
