Bandits Hold Up University Office for Payroll Cash

Indoor Soccer Debuts Here With Five Man Viking Team

Indoor soccer debuted at Derwin’s skating rink on Main Street last night as the Swedish Vikings defeated the German American quintette in the city’s first indoor game. Played on a 110 by 90 foot floor with hockey cages for goals, the contest featured two 16 minute halves and a five minute intermission. Rudolph Benne and Walling scored for the Vikings. Wishbone breaks car in Stratford wreck on Fairfield Avenue

Cecil John of Willard Street Stratford operated a car that turned somersaults after Wishbone broke, sending the vehicle across Fairfield Avenue toward Black Rock Street. Cecil John escaped with minor injuries while Moggs, driving east on Fairfield Avenue, lost steering when the bone snapped.
