Indoor Soccer Debuts Here With Five Man Viking Team
Indoor soccer debuted at Derwin’s skating rink on Main Street last night as the Swedish Vikings defeated the German American quintette in the city’s first indoor game. Played on a 110 by 90 foot floor with hockey cages for goals, the contest featured two 16 minute halves and a five minute intermission. Rudolph Benne and Walling scored for the Vikings.
