Eight year old Myrtle Benard of 1836 East Main Street died at Bridgeport hospital after being struck by a car driven by George B. Ferdinand of 138 Sanford Avenue while crossing East Main Street with four classmates. She suffered a fractured skull and perished about an hour after the accident. Ferdinand is held on $1,000 bonds.

Waterbury Man Dies After Car Trolley Collision
Phil Louis G. Kutzner twenty six of Waterbury died at St Marys Hospital at 10 14 pm from injuries in a crash between a light car and a Connecticut pony trolley car at midnight.
