Bridgeport Attorney Charged in Interstate Fraud Case
The FBI announced the arrest of Shirley Whiting of Philadelphia under a federal grand jury indictment involving stolen property. The charge stems from a check fraud case in Bridgeport where a $1,200 check stolen from attorney Harry B. Stein was deposited into an account at First Pennsylvania Bank. Whiting appeared before Magistrate Richard A. Power and was released on recognizance after posting $500 bail.
