Notre Dame High opened its basketball season with a wire-to-wire 73-55 victory over Kolbe. Senior forward Dave Lehn led ND with 24 points and 12 rebounds as the Lancers built a 38-24 halftime lead and pulled away in the second half behind strong inside play from Lehn and guard Gary Lane.
