Bandits Hold Up South End Liquor Store

Harry Myers, 76, permittee of the Lafayette Package Store, reported two bandits robbed his South End shop at 6:30 pm. They wore handkerchiefs, demanded cash, struck Myers and fled with a loaded revolver and the register. Police tallied injuries but Myers declined treatment. Detectives said the suspects were 18 to 20, one about five feet eight, the other five feet eleven, wearing dark clothes. Police ordered radio cars to watch liquor stores after the incident.

A Yale psychiatry professor and Bridgeport clinic director, he served in the Army Medical Corps 1917 to 1919 and was born December 17, 1891 in Detroit. Private committal services will be held Friday at Willow Brook Cemetery.

Dogs Kill Sheep At Newtown Farm

In Newtown on December 11, two sheep owned by Frederick L. Lord were killed and three more maimed by roaming dogs. Local veterinarian Dr. Russell F.
