Mrs. Mary Dempsey, wife of Connecticut governor, was reported in very satisfactory condition after minor surgery at St Francis Hospital. She was admitted Sunday night with tests Monday and surgery Tuesday. nature of the operation was not disclosed. The governor and she were not expected back at his office until Wednesday.
