Actor Will Take Stand In Girls Heart Balm Suit
Pittsburgh reports that actor Norman Bel Geddes will be called to testify in the Anne Caldwell and John Hubbard heart balm suit in federal court Monday. The defense contends Geddes influenced Caldwell during a train trip to Hollywood. Caldwell testified she sought letters of introduction to directors and suggested she had a "comedy ankle." The courtroom remains crowded as testimony progresses with about sixty letters read and the case hinges on alleged improper relations.
