Garbisch Captained Two College Football Teams
Seldom, if ever, Ting foman played eight years of college football and earned the distinction of being elected captain of two elevens. EB W Garbish of Washington, Pa and West Folks captained teams at Washington ad Jefferson and at West Point. He played four years at Washington and Jefferson, captaining their foothill team, then moved to Army where he first played as an entry on the Army eleven in 1922. In 1923 he was moved to tackle and then back to centre, elected captain for 1921. Quite a record.
