Retired Lumberman, 86, Killed by Falling Tree Near Home

Marjorie Clendenin twenty six daughter of Joseph Clendenin senior executive with American Smelting and Refining elopes from Ardsley mansion to wed Baron Tirnan Ternow a Russian baron in New York. Hannauer Elected President of Boston and Maine Railroad

George Hannauer vice president of Indiana Harbor Belt railway was elected president of the Boston and Maine railroad. Born in St Louis in 1873 he began with Terminal Railway association of St Louis in 1900 and will assume office January 1 succeeding James H Hustis who resigned March 31. Hannauer also serves as vice president of the Terminal Railway system overseeing the Chicago era Bathway network and Indiana Harbor Belt Railway among others. He aided in designing the new Boston and Maine straight yards and terminal plans earlier this year.
