Pleasure Beach employee dies after swing fall

Samuel Mucci an amusement park worker at Pleasure Beach fell from a Swing ride while inspecting its mechanism. He died at Gridport hospital from a fractured skull and internal injuries. Mucci, brother of a Barnum and Bailey rider, managed The Whip and served as chief electrician for William Krug enterprises.

Two Die in Pistol Duel With Boston Policeman

Arrests Made In Attempted Wreck Of New Haven Train

Milford August 2—Railroad detectives arrested Gus Nordov Naugatuck Gardens Devon Milly Wisnick Devon and Paul Syragelski Bridgeport after a suspected plan to wreck a New Haven bound train near Devon station. The officers seized railroad ties and disrupted the obstruction before the train could crash into the blockage. The three are scheduled to appear in Town court tomorrow morning.

Six Die as Train Hits Auto at Crossing in Wamton

Six people were killed when a fast train struck an automobile at a crossing in Wamton VY early today. A child of six was among the dead and a wounded survivor was rushed to hospital. Office burglars escape with $50 cash

A burglary occurred at the Adams Cune ulo offices at 748 Main yesterday afternoon. A thief forced entry, unlocked desk drawers were opened, and about $50 was stolen.
