Errant Husband Targeted In Café By Proud Brooklyn Woman

In a Main Street cafe a determined woman identified as Mrs Lalskowsky of Brooklyn confronted her estranged husband, punched him twice, and prompted police involvement. The confrontation, spurred by allegations of kidnapping their six year old son, led to talks of restoring the boy or arresting the husband. The sergeant in charge urged a peaceful settlement. Milford Aug 25 Stanley M Clark has been deposed as president of the board of Police Commissioners by the board of Selectmen. The ouster followed friction with Judge Jarvis D Brown over comments about the Town Court and enforcement of local ordinances including bathing dress, speed limits and parking. Man and Girl Drown in New Haven Harbor

Weary of dodging the law, 19 year old James Terace of Hillstée avenue surrendered to Bridgeport police yesterday. Arrested in January for suspected involvement in Fairfield burglaries, he was bound over to await trial. En route to county jail he escaped while the sheriff stopped for clothes, then wandered to other towns before being captured.

Fairfield Aug 15 Special Judge Bacon Wakeman of Walkvid town court sat to hear the long session in Fairfield. He presided over prosecutions of men arrested in liquor raids in Fairfield and Westport Wednesday night.
