Rollicking Outing Led by Newsboys Parade at Pleasure Beach
About five to six hundred Post Telegram newsboys paraded from the State Armory to Pleasure Beach for a day of activities arranged by the Post Publishing company. They swam, ran concessions, rode a pony on the Frisbie Pie car, and enjoyed a well-behaved outing with fife and drum guidance and a Majestic Theatre organist.

Three South End and Harral avenue carriers modeled in modern bathing suits march as four exponents of the West’s manly arts provide entertainment. Tickets to the park were swapped for ship coupons granting access to all concessions, free refreshments, and bath hodges with suits. The crowd cheered as the roller coaster hissed and the organ truck played, then trucks returned with a cheering mob to sustain city posts in workmanlike fashion.
