VA Funds Await Korean Vets as Conversion Offer Ends
Minneapolis report cites VA holding 21 million dollars in unpaid dividends for Korean veterans and urges conversion of RS insurance to the W form by Sept 14 1983. Officials note 107000 veterans could receive about 196 dollars each while hospitals report 28000 extra patients and shorter waits. Awards announced for the auxiliary include cash prizes for high school writing and a Boy Scout trail restoration honor.
