He lurched toward Shelton Street, grabbed an awning rope, crashed into the drug store window, then stepped through a cellar window and fell hitting his head. He was taken by ambulance to Bridgeport hospital, then to Hillside Home as officials determined no skull fracture and held for police while recovering from alcoholism and a scalp laceration.

The body of Prank B Paley aged fifty eight of Valley Road Cos Gob was recovered late today along the east bank of the Mainui river by Greenwich police officers. Paley left his home last night around 6 30 and was seen near the riverbank before his body was found. The Medical Examiner Dr John H Clarke ruled death due to drowning and indicated it was probably self-inflicted. He is survived by a wife and one son.
