US Bank Resources Top $26 Billion in Latest Call
United States banks total resources reached over 26 billion dollars in the latest call, up from March and last year. Deposits climbed to about 1.17 trillion with demand deposits, government funds, and time deposits contributing to the gain. Loans and discounts stood at a ratio of around 64 percent of total deposits, while capital stocks rose by over 13 million. Cash in banks showed a slight year over year decline despite the aggregate rise.
