New York dispatch reports Camp Devens in Massachusetts will be used as a base for a large Peruvian project financed by the Roman Catholic Church. Downtown Bridgeport merchants at a Rotary Club meeting condemned inadequate transportation and a strict no parking rule. Lightning strike kills two evangelists at LaPorte revival

At a LaPorte camp meeting Rev John Timber warned that a heavenly bolt would find the crowd unprepared. A nearby lightning flash struck the tent killing Henry Lenz of Belvedere, Wisconsin and L & Huston, evangelists, instantly injuring others and shocking the congregation.
