Stock Lead Tells Lions Acting Demands Hard Work
Frank Lyon of Manhattan Players at the Park theatre told Lions club members that stock acting is strenuous and busy. A week of one play requires studying and rehearsing for the following week, leaving little time for leisure. He urged Bridgeporters to view a stock company as a community asset and to support requests from civic groups for特 performances. George Norron of Miami Beach demonstrated sleight of hand. A ten‑member delegation will represent the club at the New London district convention next Wednesday. Attorney William Brent is district governor.
