Pioneer worker found dead at plant clock in Stamford
Dennis Graham, 70, longtime employee at W. W. Penfield Inc in Stamford, was found dead near the second floor stairs at noon. The body showed signs of apoplexy. Penfield reported the incident after discovering the time clock panelled and the man already dead. Graham previously worked for the railroad.

Auto accidents leave two hurt and three jailed
Two people were injured and three arrests reported after automobile incidents yesterday. Baiah Montgomery, 63, of 8 Ford Road, was struck by a car driven by Philp Rusu kow of 66 Madison Avenue at Fairfield Avenue and Brewster Street. She treated by a local physician and remained lightly injured. Imine Schutt, 4, of 600 East Manin Street, hospitalized with a fractured skull front, condition not serious. Michael Smore of South Crande Park, M. J. held for driving without license and for responsibility, police say his vehicle struck driver Paul Sivxa of 28 Pixlee Place at Hallett Street and Batnant Avenue before leaving the scene. Joseph Marsans of 19 Tough Avenue cited for operating a different car than registration and for no license. He collided with LeRoy T. Grogan of 449 Nichols Street at Tallett and Arctic Streets. Police inspected brakes on a car owned by Antonio Sefni of 3% corh prices, after a collision with a trolley at Main Street entrance of Sinside Park, and Sefni summoned to court.

Twelve Hoboes Save Six Lives at La Grange Fire
La Grange April 20 a group of twelve ragged hoboes arrested as vagrants saved six patients during a fire at the La Grange Sanitarium. They rushed back into the burning building with hospital attendants to aid in removing patients. A nurse was carried to safety by a vagrant who returned through a burning corridor as onlookers cheered. The Grange police chief said freeing the twelve men came with a $1 bonus each from his pocket.

Accident Victim Escapes After Carriage Crash in Stratford
Stratford reports a carriage struck by an automobile driven by Elbert A Swan injuring Joseph Pinter and pushing his five children to the pavement.
