Stratford zoning plans near approval by senate action
Stratford residents await final adoption of zoning regulations after a senate move authorizing planning boards and district controls. The act requires a comprehensive plan guiding building use, setbacks, and street safety to reduce congestion, with a five to seventeen member zoning board and appeals to common pleas or superior court. A related election bill on primary turnout was tabled. Arthur W Cabot and Mrs Cabot returned from a Massachusetts motor trip visiting Wayside Inn and Boston.
