James H. Crossley 51 of New York was taken to Bridgeport Police headquarters yesterday and charged with forgery on two counts and embezzlement of 2000. He was brought by Detective Sergeant James Bray from New York, bail set at 5000. Crossley, once a respected Bridgeport citizen, was arrested in New York six weeks ago and held at the Tombs during extradition efforts. Authorities submitted proofs in Albany, and Crossley was brought back for court.
