Lambuth College receives the final $1,000 from a 1953 pledge by Calvary Methodist Church Memphis, which dissolved after merging with Longview Methodist in 1967. Longview cleared payments of the pledge and a $12,500 pledge to Methodist Hospital after selling Calvary Church’s building. The Radical Student League is being checked in Bonn.
