Baltic provinces raise Baltic tensions in Paris talks

The submarine R-26, third of its type this year, launched at Lake Torpedo Boat Co in Bridgeport with Mrs W Barnett Jr as sponsor. A large crowd witnessed ceremonial rites, the Star Spangled Banner, and the wine bottle smash before the vessel slid into the lake. The R-26, seventh of its type by Lake Torpedo, is nearly ready for Navy handover pending battery and engine tests.
