The Victors era ended with business failures leading Vic to join Devon AC which played in LaChateau hall then in a purpose built venue later used as a machine shop. Devon listed Frank McTaggart Wade Lewis Buddy O Rourke and Chapman among players. Snellin spent two seasons with the squad before moving to Stratford Legion which included Town Manager Harry Pleed Dr W G Willians Billy Bedell O Rourke Dese Clinton Jim Bulkeley Ed Wheeler Fay Hafele and Bill Boyle. Games were held at Tuttles hall where scoring ran around peats. The annual events were with the Blessed Sacraments and Compo LMe Guarde. Vie retired from basketball in 1924 while remaining active and was a member of the Remington oma team which won the Industrial League championship in 1917.
