Area native Jim Paschall and his family move back to the vicinity of Boonsville after 21 years in the United States Air Force. He served two tours in Southeast Asia flying 100 combat missions over North Viet Nam and lived in Germany, Spain, and Thailand. His wife Janice, a nurse from Washington, and their four children Cynthia Teresa Robert David invite neighbors to reconnect at Johnny Vinson Chevrolet where Jim works as a car salesman.

Homecoming events begin Friday with a 9 pm dance at the fire hall. Attendees should bring tables. chairs provided. Tickets cost 2.00. Saturday features a parade and pep rally. Parade forms at Corner Drag at 2:30 and travels up Hal sell Street to the Dairy Queen and toward the high school.

Optimists to Hold Annual Banquet

Bulls Defeat Crowley in Weekend Clash
The Bulls opened strong to lead 14–0 after Paul Carter scored twice and Donald Chapman added an extra point. Crowley answered late in the half, but Bulls' defense limited the visitors and secured a 21–6 edge after a third Bulls TD and key turnover in the second half.

Groundbreaking Set For Rural Water System
Groundbreaking ceremonies begin at 11 00 a m today for a new water system serving over 400 rural families in west Wise County. U S Congressman Omar Burleson will break ground for the West Wise Rural Water Supply Corporation project with local dignitaries invited. The ceremony is just north of Lake Bridge 19 Washington port dam and open to the public. A luncheon at Runaway Bay Yacht Club will follow before Burleson departs.
