Baptists Launch Fund Campaign For New Bridgeport Building
The First Baptist Church of Bridgeport started a four week Chest of Joash fund drive on September 9 seeking 17 000 to reach one third of the total building cost for an educational facility to seat 450 in Bible study and church activities. Proceeds so far exceed 75 000. The old building will be remodeled for youth activities after construction. A special service is planned for September.
