The Wise County beauty pageant returns to Bridgeport High School Auditorium Saturday at 8 pm with eight entrants. Miss Sharon Denton Bridgeport leads a field that will send the winner to the Miss Texas contest in Fort Worth.
An old time Hootenanny is planned for next Saturday night May 30 at 8 p m at C R s T V Shop in Bridgeport. Organizers promise fun to relax after the work week and invite all to attend. Also updates report Edwin Ross and Thurman Parson traveling to Phoenix Arizona for family illness and others summoned for support.
