Bridgeport Junior High's Yearling Stampede received an achievement award in the Junior High Mimeographed division. Dr. Max R. Haddick of UT Austin presented the honors at a Saturday banquet at Villa Capri Motor Hotel. About 3,600 students and teachers attended the conference.
